"Sofremos muito com a precarização": condições de trabalho das assistentes sociais da política de assistência social de Miranorte - TO

This research results from the Conclusion of a Specialization Course in Social Work and Social Policy carried out with professionals working in the Social Assistance Policy of the municipality of Miranorte-TO. The objective of this study was to analyze the working conditions of the social workers of the social assistance public policy of the municipality of Miranorte-TO and to understand the impacts of the process of precariousness of work for the social service and the public policy of social assistance. We used the qualitative approach, bibliographical research and as a data collection instrument we used the semi-structured interview with four social workers. It was verified that the process of precarization reaches the conditions of work in the social service, mainly with respect to salaries, ties with reduced social rights and the lack of investment in the physical and material structures of work and attendance to the population. The results point to a visible process of precariousness of working conditions in the social service, leaving its mark: reduced rights, instability, insecurity and low wages, as inferred from the reports of these professionals. Faced with such conditions, the professionals seek in the public tender the possibility of improving the work status. Finally, despite the difficult working conditions to which they are subjected, all the professionals interviewed are engaged in the struggle of the social service, seeking to concretize the Political Ethical Project and the social service as a critical and interventionary profession.Esta pesquisa é resultante do Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso de Especialização em Serviço Social e Política Social realizado com profissionais atuantes na Política de Assistência Social do município de Miranorte-TO. Teve como objetivos analisar as condições de trabalho das assistentes sociais da política pública de assistência social do município de Miranorte-TO e compreender os impactos do processo de precarização do trabalho para o serviço social e para a política pública de assistência social. Foi utilizada a abordagem qualitativa, pesquisa bibliográfica e como instrumento de coleta de dados utilizou-se a entrevista semi-estruturada com quatro assistentes sociais. Verificou-se que o processo de precarização atinge as condições de trabalho no serviço social, principalmente com relação aos salários, vínculos com reduzidos direitos sociais e na falta de investimento nas estruturas físicas e materiais de trabalho e atendimento à população. Os resultados apontam um visível processo de precarização das condições de trabalho no serviço social,deixando sua marca: direitos reduzidos, instabilidade, insegurança e baixos salários, como se infere dos relatos dessas profissionais. Diante de tais condições, as profissionais almejam no concurso público a possibilidade de melhoria da condição laboral. Por fim, mesmo diante das difíceis condições de trabalho a que estão submetidas, todas as profissionais entrevistadas estão engajadas nas bandeiras de luta do serviço social, buscando concretizar o Projeto Ético Político e o serviço social enquanto profissão crítica e interventiva
